The complete Europa Organisation team gathered in the domaine of Preissac for a working seminar and also to cheerfully celebrate a very active first half of the year

Europa Organisation was pleased to welcome 13,109 participants from 119 countries. During the four days of the Course, nearly 300 sessions took place, including 44 hours of Live case transmissions. Forty-six Working Groups and National Societies collaborated with the Organising committee and contributed to the success of the Course.

The 11th ATR Operators Conference will be organised in Paris by Europa Organisation. During 4 days, 400 participants representing more than 150 aviation companies from all continents will share their experiences during a programme of workshops and sessions. At the same time, an exhibition space will have presentations by ATR's suppliers thus involving all of the actors in the value chain

Chafik Rhazi joins the operational service of the Paris office as an assistant project manager. In Toulouse, Mickael Bornet, network administrator technician has joined the IT department. The editorial team of Rotterdam of the Eurointervention Journal has gotten larger with the arrival of Sylvie Lhoste, editorial assistant.

It is the continuation of the former London Valve Live course that started last year in London, under the chairmanship of Martyn Thomas and his colleagues from St. Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital - jointly known as Kings Health Partners.
 We joined forces to create an international course specific to the growing field of valves, under the name PCR London Valves. The Course, built around live cases and interactivity with experts, will focus on teaching Heart teams how to perform valve interventions. This course is designed as a truly multidisciplinary meeting for the whole Heart Team who will deliver the transcatheter valve technologies.
 The two-day course - covering both aortic and mitral valves - will help heart/cathlab teams reduce the learning curve, covering patient selection, building a heart team, latest clinical data as well tips & tricks, complication management, with a systematic progress check - what we've learnt so far - and well-selected case-based debates.

Europa Organisation is sponsoring a team of two Toulouse students for the 4L Trophy 2010. In February 2010, Europa Organisation is once again helping a team for a Trek Adventure in the Moroccan desert. Astrid Bezard-Falgas and Anne-Sophie Conte, two Toulouse students, will participate in the 4L Trophy. Solidarity is the theme because the primary objective is to use a Renault 4L to bring school supplies and sporting goods to the most needy children in Morocco. This expedition is the first humanitarian student sporting event in Europe! The 2010 edition broke all previous records with 79 tonnes of school supplies delivered and 39 solar panels installed.

By engaging in the quality assurance process of ISO 9001, Europa Organisation made the choice to reinforce its internal procedures in order to guarantee a quality level of service and to better respond to its clients’ needs.

In view of the congress of EuroPCR which will be held in Paris from 25 to 28 May, the team of EuroIntervention will publish 4 issues: EuroPCR-AsiaPCR/SingLIVE Book of abstracts, Randomized Trials Books, Supplement on Imaging, and the flagship issue of Eurointervention Journal. These four publications will be distributed to all the participants.
Published eight times a year, with also the special publication of two thematic issues, Eurointervention is declined with an electronic edition. EIJ is an international journal, published in English language, with the objective to create a forum, a platform for high quality research and for education in the sector of the percutaneous and surgical cardiovascular interventions. EuroIntervention is indexed in PubMed since October, 2008.
